Applying to the Program as a Graduating High School Senior

You may apply to Cabrillo College beginning in October, 2018 for the Fall, 2019 semester.

The application to the Honors Transfer Program is a separate required on-line application open beginning January 15, 2019

DEADLINE to apply as a Graduating h.s. Senior:

Midnight - March 17th, 2019

**If you submitted your application by the deadline, please forward all required documentation ASAP so we can proceed with review of your application. You will hear from the program within 2 weeks of receipt of all your paperwork.**

Required documents may be SCANNED and e-mailed (preferred) to honors@cabrillo.edu

  • Unofficial transcript that includes Fall semester grades
  • Copy of CAASPP (EAP), SBAC scores from junior year
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Copy of AP English Language or Literature, or IB Language A Literature HL or Language A Lang and Lit HL scores, if applicable

If you have applied to Cabrillo College AND completed the on-line Honors Transfer Program separate, required application by the March Deadline, any of the required documents may be submitted AFTER the deadline and your application will still be valid. However, we cannot fully evaluate your application without receipt of all required documents.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

New students must first also complete a separate, on-line application to Cabrillo College through CCC Apply - This is required even if you have previously taken Cabrillo courses as a concurrently-enrolled high school student. Click HERE TO APPLY to Cabrillo College for Fall Admission (beginning October, 2018 for Fall, 2019 enrollment)

NOTE: if you wish to take a course at Cabrillo in Spring 2019 or Summer, 2019, you may need to re-apply separately. Please contact Admissions and Records at Cabrillo.


If you are graduating from a Santa Cruz County high school, you should also participate in RUNNING START for early registration. See your high school counselor and refer to the STEPS to APPLY as a Santa Cruz County graduating senior to comply with those steps by the deadline.
