Applying to the Program as a Graduating High School Senior

You may apply to Cabrillo College beginning in October, 2017 for the Fall, 2018 semester.

The application to the Honors Transfer Program is a separate required on-line application open beginning January 15, 2018

DEADLINE to apply as a Graduating h.s. Senior:

Midnight - March 15th, 2018

Required documents may be SCANNED and e-mailed (preferred) to

  • Unofficial transcript that includes Fall semester grades
  • Copy of CAASPP (EAP), SBAC scores from junior year
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Copy of AP or IB scores

If you have applied to Cabrillo College AND completed the on-line Honors Transfer Program separate, required application by the March Deadline, any of the required documents may be submitted AFTER the deadline and your application will still be valid. However, we cannot fully evaluate your application without receipt of all required documents - and the deadline for documents to be received by the college in order to participate in Running Start registration is March 23, 2018


New students must first also complete a separate, on-line application to Cabrillo College through CCC Apply - This is required even if you have previously taken Cabrillo courses as a concurrently-enrolled high school student. NOTE: if you wish to take a course at Cabrillo in Spring 2018 or Summer, 2018, you may need to re-apply separately. Please contact Admissions and Records at Cabrillo.

If you are graduating from a Santa Cruz County high school, you should also participate in RUNNING START for early registration. See your high school counselor and refer to the STEPS to APPLY as a Santa Cruz County graduating senior to comply with those steps by the deadline.


Please complete your English (and Math) Assessments as soon as possible after you apply to Cabrillo College. You do not have to wait to take the Assessments with your high school group. See the Calendar on the Assessment web page.
