How do I start taking classes at Cabrillo? banner
What do I need to do?
  1. Submit an Application for Admission on-line*, in person or by mail
  2. Submit a High School Release form if you are still in high school. Must be submitted with your Application for Admission - if applying on-line, fax the High School Release form to (831)479-5782.
  3. Take an Assessment Test if registering for an English or Math course, or a Science course with a Math prerequisite. See the Assessment Schedule.
  4. Register for Classes - Go To Apply and Register for more information.

What information do I need to supply when I register?

    • Social Security number or newly assigned student number
    • Birthdate, as in: 03/15/84
    • Course number for the class ( e.g. CIS 81) See Class Schedules
    • Section number for the class (e.g. 15112)
    • Credit card information (or send a check within 5 days of registering, with the student name and soc. sec. number)
    • Indicate if you want a bus pass or parking permit
      (you will be able to pick it up at the bank window in the 100 Bldg.

Remember:

    • You need to come to the first class meeting to keep your spot, as there may be other students on a waitlist.
    • If you are on the waitlist for a class, ask the instructor for an "add" slip at the first class meeting.
    • If you need to drop the class, you can do so through HawkTalk or via WebAdvisor. Check dates in the Schedule of Classes.
    • If you enter the college after graduating from high school, you may *APPLY ON-LINE at CCCApply or if you want to find out more about financial aid and fee waivers, go to Getting Started at Cabrillo College

Can I visit the Cabrillo College campus?

 

Yes! Tours of the Aptos campus are available on request.
Local students typically come with a group arranged by a teacher or
counselor and out-of-town guests may arrange for individual tours
by appointment, Monday - Friday. Call (831) 479.5760.

There will also be bilingual campus tours for students and parents
starting at the Gym during the annual COLLEGE AND CAREER NIGHT
on the second Monday of November.

You are welcome to walk around the campus any time. Course schedules are available outside the 100 Bldg., and at area libraries.

 

Where is Cabrillo College?

Cabrillo has a Main Campus in Aptos, and two satellite campuses; one in Watsonville and one in Scotts Valley.
