Evening Administration
Administrators will be on duty from 5 to 9 PM Mondays through Thursdays and available at 809-0363. Please note that there are no weekend admimistrators. If you need assistance on Saturday or Sunday, please contact the Sheriff's Office directly. Should you need to contact a Sheriff's Deputy, you may do so by calling 212-8464 (7:00 am to Midnight, Mon-Sun). After Midnight, dial 688-1117 and the Sheriff's Office Dispatch will contact the duty officer. For any emergency situation, anytime, call 911.

Bus Riders
That office asked me to announce there will be no late adds for Cooperative Work Experience Education students. They will be unable to add once the open enrollment period has closed. All students interested in taking Work Experience classes must attend one of the seven scheduled Orientation Sessions listed in the Schedule of Classes and register by September 13th.

Patriot Day
There will be “An Open Conversation about Our Country” on Thursday September 9th from 4-5:30 pm in room 456 at the Aptos campus. The Thursday venue date was chosen to take advantage of the presence on campus of larger numbers of students and instructors. A flyer will be distributed to faculty and staff. The library homepage at http://libwww.cabrillo.edu will have a link to an announcement of the event.

International Computer Drivers Licence (ICDL) CIS 160 IL
The class is designed to teach the complete set of basic computer skills and graduate with an official certification license that is already internationally recognized in Europe. Topics to be covered include: Fundamental Concepts of Information Technology, Using the Computer and Managing Files, Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Databases, Presentations, Internet and Email. Recommended Preparation: CABT 106 (may be taken concurrently) or equivalent knowledge of Windows or Macintosh. M & W 4-5:45 pm or W 6 - 9:30 pm in Room 516. Instructor: Rick Graziani. Go to the first class on Monday, August 30, or Wednesday, Sept. 1, to obtain an add slip and enroll in the class. Cabrillo faculty and staff who take this class may earn credit on the salary schedule, with prior approval.

Cabrillo Extension Fall 2004
The Cabrillo Extension Fall 2004 program is out! From now until September 17th , 2004, Cabrillo Extension is offering Cabrillo staff, faculty & administrators a special 30% off discount for one of our Extension classes, not to exceed a discount of $50.00. The SLRB calendar of meetings and deadlines have been posted at the SLRB Web site at: http://cabrillo.edu/services/tlc/sabbatical/ Those faculty planning to submit proposals for the 2005-06 academic year should plan to meet by September 24 with the division dean to review the initial proposal draft.
