This website was created to assist faculty and student web developers in designing and evaluating their web pages for accessibility. The opening page describes the purpose of this site and has a collage of three photos depicting scenes from the central coastal areas of California. One is a sunset scene over the ocean with pampas grass in the foreground, another is a photograph of an apple tree branch with blossoms, seen throughout the Pajaro Valley region, and a close up photo of a yellow daisy, representative of the large flower growing industry in the Pajaro Valley. I think nature provides a wonderful metaphor for graphic design and web development. A simple, well engineered design will provide a useful and sustainable product for all.
