Teaching & Learning Center Tutorial Acquire the Templates You can use Cabrillo templates to easily develop a faculty web site. The templates can be downloaded as a zip file. To use them for your site, double click on the zip file and copy the files to a folder on your computer. See Using Dreamweaver to Publish Your Website for instructions on defining a Dreamweaver site] Note: If you already have an index.html file in your folder that you want to keep, temporarily rename it index2.html (select Yes for updating the links) in Dreamweaver. Otherwise, the new index.html you will copying into your folder will replace the old one. Open Dreamweaver and select Site > New Site The files will now appear in the Files panel on the right side of the application window. Edit the Cabrillo templates Open the index.html file by double-clicking on it. Edit the information by selecting text:
Type your information. Continue editing the files as needed. Use the Style pull-down menu in the Properties window to format any new text you add.
