Printing
Most Windows machines on campus print to a printer somewhere on the network. To verify that your Windows computer is set up to print properly:
- Make sure that you are logged on to the network.
- If you're not sure, you can right click (one click with the right mouse button) on the "Network Neighborhood" icon
- Click the "Start" Button
- Go to "Settings"
- Choose "Printers," this will open up a Window which contains the icon for the printer you're using (typically "Q-{Your Department}").
- Right click (one click with the right mouse button) on the icon that represent's the printer you use.
If you still cannot print, check to see that "work Offline" is NOT checked in your application program. If it is checked, uncheck it.
A color printer is available for faculty use in the TLC. Due to the high cost of supplies, please limit your use of the color printer.
