Attention:

San Jose State University will be on campus November 16th, 2009 for drop-in counseling from 10 am to 2 pm. Please come to the Transfer Center room 131 to meet with a representative.

UC Berkeley will be on campus November 17th, 2009 for drop-in counseling from 10 am to 2 pm. Please come to the Transfer Center room 131 to meet with a representative.

UC Santa Cruz will be on campus November 18th, 2009 from 11 am to 3 pm for appointments and 3 pm to 4 pm for drop-in counseling. Please come to the Transfer Center room 131 to meet with a representative.

CSU, Monterey will be on campus November 19th, 2009 from 9 am to 2 pm in Aptos and 4 pm to 6:30 pm at the Watsonville Center.

CSU Transfer Application Workshops

The Transfer Center is offering workshops to help students complete their application to the California State University.Computers will be available to complete the application on the spot!

UC/CSU Transfer Application Workshops

These workshops cover tips on filling out your UC application online, and are presented by UCSC  and/or Cabrillo representatives. Computers will be available to start the application process following the workshop. No RSVP necessary--just show up!

Personal Statement and Essay Workshops

All applicants to the University of California and most private colleges must submit application essays. Marcie Wald, LCSW (Author of Nothing Can Stop Me; An Open Book on Transfer Application Essays), is offering FREE workshops on this topic. The information is also useful for scholarship application essays. Actual sample essays are read and critiqued during the workshop. No RSVP necessary--just show up!  Only offered Fall semester.
