Skills for the Writing Process
This next section of the program will introduce you to a few basic skills that are important companions to the act of writing. This section will break the writing process down into a set of manageable stages which will improve your efficiency and effectiveness as a writer. You will receive a lot of practice with these steps, and they will also be discussed at length during your tutorials. These steps in the writing process are so important that we are going to ask you to move through them for every essay you write in English 290 or your 255 class.
