On Fire

A special bubble solution is used to make durable bubbles filled with methane gas. Since methane is lighter than air, any methane released before ignition floats up and away from my hand. Water has a high specific heat capacity and heat of vaporization, and absorbs the heat generated by this exothermic reaction, protecting my wet hand for a short period of time.

Don't try this at home!
