Minutes: 12-5-06 meeting

Minutes from 11/27/06 accepted.

Mo Hassan brought before a request for the inclusion of Business 184 and 170 in the list of CSU transferable courses. The item was approved by the council.

John Mullen brought before the council a rough draft of a revision to AR 3270 reguarding excessive absence. A discussion followed and the council gave John its blessing to continue on and include the suggestions made.

A motion was made to rescind the inclusion of English 12A and D in the IGETC due to an error. The motion was approved.

A request by Mary Ellen for inclusion of English 12E and 12F in the General Education patterns for the Associates Degrees and CSU GE. The item was approved.

Mary Ellen brought before the council a motion to include in the IGETC and CSU GE patterns , in the appropriate areas, several courses that the UCOP invited Cabrillo to submit for IGETC. :BBS32, CHEM 5, CHEM 12A, CHEM 12B, ENGL 1C, ENGL 40, HS 15, HIST 16A and 16B, MATH 5C, 6, and 7, PHYS 2B, 4B, 4C,4D, PSYCH 2, SOC 47, SPAN 5A, 5B, WS 5, 6, 13. The courses were approved.
