Tom McKay brought before the council an informational item about a request for students with a baccalaureate degree seeking a nursing degree from Cabrillo College to not be required to take any courses outside of their nursing courses or any required prereqs for those courses (SB 1393, Ed Code 66055.8). It was decided that more information was need before formally bringing a proposal to the council.
