Minutes from 4/3/06 accepted
Jay Jackson brought a student petition to waive a 12 unit residency requirement in the Radiologic Technology AS degree. Motion was made, seconded and passed.
Gloria Garing brought before the council a petition for a student to use a multicultural course from another college that had been academically renewed to fulfill the Cabrillo multicultural requirement. Motion was made, seconded and passed.
Mary Ellen brought before the council a change in the requirements for multiple associate degrees in transfer/occupational programs. A motion was made, seconded and passed.
REQUIREMENTS FOR MULTIPLE OCCUPATIONAL ASSOCIATE DEGREES
Requirements for Multiple Associate Degrees within Occupational Programs
To be eligible for multiple associate degrees within
occupational programs at , a student
must satisfactorily complete all the requirements of the majors with at least a
2.0 grade point average. In general, multiple associate degrees cannot be
awarded within one occupational program unless otherwise stated in the specific
program description of this catalog.

REQUIREMENTS FOR MULTIPLE ASSOCIATE DEGREES IN TRANSFER PROGRAMS
To be eligible for multiple associate degrees in transfer
programs at (or a
combination of occupational and transfer program degrees), a student must
satisfactorily complete all the requirements of the majors with at least a 2.0
grade point average. In addition, students must complete at least ten units in
coursework specific to their major requirements (as per the suggested programs
in the Cabrillo College Catalog) that are not replicated in the major
requirements for any other degree they seek or possess.
