Payments
- Payment of all rents are due in full at least four weeks before
the time of check-in. Cash, personal checks, money orders, cashiers
checks and traveler's checks are acceptable. A $20.00 service charge
will be added to your bill for any returned checks.Payments made
less than 14 days before arrival must be by either cashiers check
or money order. Payments made upon arrival must be in cash. We will
use a credit card to guarantee a reservation, but we do not accept
credit cards for payment.
Deposits
- Deposits are due within five (5) business days after booking to
confirm a reservation.
Cancellation
& Refunds - Cancellation of a reservation 45 days prior
to booking allows for a full refund less 20% cancellation fee. You
may cancel closer to the date, but you will only receive a refund
if we get the property re-rented (If need be sometimes we can transfer
your reservation to another date within a 3 month period from original
reservation date. This does not apply to timeshare units). Unfavorable
road and or weather conditions do not warrant a refund. The security
deposit is refundable after the property has been inspected. Normally
a refund will be returned within 2 weeks.
Phones
- Most houses have a phone that requires a credit card for long
distance phone calls. If the phone is not a credit card phone your
deposit will be held for 45 days to verify that you did not make
any long distance calls.

- Regular: 11:00 AM Check Out; 3:00 Check In Holidays: 10:00 AM
Check Out; 4:00 Check In
Housekeeping
- A cleaning charge is included in the cost of the rental. You are
expected to leave the home tidy this includes doing your own dishes.
We also require that you strip the beds and start at least ( more
would be helpful especially during holiday time periods ) one load
of laundry. All cleaning supplies should be available in the house.
Linens
- Linens are provided in most cases, so, please be sure to verify
if you need to bring the appropriate sheet, towels and pillow cases.
Amenities
- All units are fully stocked including fully equipped kitchens,
fireplaces or wood burning stoves and in most cases firewood is
not provided. There is a color TV with cable hook-up in most cabins
and some have VCR's for your use. We also provide snow plowing whenever
there is 6 inches or more of snow. (Please be aware that the houses
have regular home size water heaters and if you are bringing a big
party that you will more than likely need to rotate showers.)
When Leaving
- Set the thermostat at 60 degrees - DO NOT TURN OFF - (winter only)
and leave the water dripping a small amount so the pipes do not
freeze. Please do this during your stay as well if the weather is
cold. Remove all trash from house, it must be in cans and put at
curb-side. Please leave the keys on the kitchen counter and lock
the door as you leave, unless otherwise notified. The security deposit
you have paid will also be used as a key deposit. If we find it
necessary to rekey the locks when the keys are not returned that
fee will be deducted from your security deposit of ($200). Please
be aware that this includes a service call by the Locksmith and
can be quite costly. You can prevent this simply by leaving the
key in the unit on the kitchen counter.
