  • Contact a television station, Radio Station, Newspaper or magazine (or other media) and obtain a "Media Kit" (note: this will not be returned to you) 10 pts
  • Create a contact list. Obtain the following for a television/cable station: 5 pts
    • Station Name, channel and call letters
    • Name of various contact people and their title
    • Addresses, phones, emails
  • Media Measurement Measuring the impact of your Ad Campaign

    Session 19 Measuring Efficiency and Effectiveness in Advertising Media 10 pts
  • Write a brief paper (200-500 word, or one page) on any of the following: 5 pts each
    • Searchlights
    • airplane banner ads
    • Suggest a topic of your own - get instructor approval

      You may do 1-4 of these for extra credit
  • Publicity: Obtain a local newspaper or magazine (Good Times, Sentinel, etc.) and go through it to list possible features that could be used for Publicity efforts. Make a list of the proper contacts for each feature. 10 pts
