  • Gerber initially used the same packaging and labeling in Africa that they used in the U.S. - with the cute baby on the label. Later they found out that African companies routinely put pictures on the label of what is inside, since many people couln't read.
  • Chevrolet Nova (a star that suddenly increases its light output tremendously) sounds exciting but when it was marketed in Mexico as Nova it got a different slant
