  • Get you textbook NOW! (see syllabus)
  • Note: you never need to come to this site directly; ALL materials are in Blackboard
  • Read the Blackboard Student tutorials to learn to use Blackboard
  • On June 18th: Go to Balckboard and create your login
    • Log in and read the Home page
    • Complete Learning Modules 1,2, and 3 by the end of the first week (Monday thru Sunday)
      Note: all homework is due on Sunday nights ending the weekend
Course Catalog Description
ACCT 163 Using Quickbooks (Online Class)
3 units; 2 hours Lecture, 5 hours Laboratory per week as a 16 week course

Introduces use of QuickBooks from the accounting practitioner's perspective. Course includes setting up new businesses, entering data, locating information, and analyzing financial statements for service, merchandising, and manufacturing companies. Offered in a Distance-Learning Format.
Recommended Preparation
Recommended Preparation: ACCT 151A; Eligibility for ENGL 100 and
READ 100.
Work Load and Related Requirements

Thank you registering for this ONLINE course. Please don't get discouraged but realize you are responsible for putting the necessary time into the course to learn the subject matter. This course is a 16 week course scheduled in a 6 week Summer School format. All materials are online and all work is completed online using the Instructor's website and the Blackboard Learning system.

Add Policy: To Add this Summer class, you must contact me via my Faculty email to obtain an Add code # (daambros @ cabrillo.edu). If there is a Wait List for the course, students will added from that first in numerical order. You must be on the Wait List and contact me BEFORE the first day, June 18th to be eligible to add. No one may "Add" after the first day. If you aren't on the Wait List there is a slight chance that you can still Add the class by contacting me via email. Once you obtain an Add code, click here for directions.
