Francine's Personal Stuff
My husband and I live in La Selva Beach and have three adult sons, and a very old dog. We've been involved with the Aptos community, particularly in sports, for over 34 years. In our spare time we golf, attend Cal Berkeley football and Cal Poly rugby games.

Current @ONE Advisory Committee member; provides technology support to faculty and staff through the California Community College system

2006-present, California Educational Technology Collaborative Ambassador; a State Chancellor's Office program to increase awareness of the many systemwide technology resources that the Collaborative offers.

Attended the Asilomar Leadership Skills Seminar, March 2007 sponsored by the Community College League of California

Participant in Spring 2004 Sloan-C Online Research Workshop

From 1996–present, worked with over 180 faculty on the design and development of technology-mediated instruction, including 17 online courses; participated in the design and testing of the College’s web information architecture and specific database driven applications; developed multiple workshops on using software to develop online courses and multimedia presentations for the classroom.

Design and development of the online course, Design and Delivery of an Online Course, 2001, in collaboration with Valerie Landau, Associate Professor, California State University, Monterey Bay. Project commissioned as a community college faculty training tool by the Bay Area Region of the California Virtual Campus Project for the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office

Participant in CVC1 Streaming Media Pilot Project, 2001, a demonstration project using streaming media technology to teach the pedagogical and technological skills required for media development.
