Math 154 Watsonville CenterHello Math 154 students! Hopefully you picked up your assignments at the ILC. If not you can email me to get your current points. To compute the points you need to get on the final exam do the following: assuming a 200 point final (might be 225points) 555 points (so far) + 200 points (final)=755 points (total) Find the grade you want to receive, look at the points needed column, compute POINTS NEEDED – POINTS EARNED=POINTS NEEDED on final. If that number is more than 200 points you are out of luck (assuming 200 point final) you cannot earn that grade. If that number is less than 200, then you can earn that grade. To see the score as a percent, divide the POINTS NEEDED by 200 points. Example: POINTS EARNED 400 points. Just looking to pass the class, that is a C, so need at least 534.8 points. 528.5–400=128.5 these are the points needed on the final. To see that as a percent, 128.5/200=64.25%
