Course Information

1. Discuss the aspects of being self-employed or in a managerial position in a horticulture business.
2. Explore the possible employment opportunities in the various niches in the horticulture field.
3. Increase awareness of the various types of horticulture businesses that exist locally, possible and potential incomes, growth strategies and opportunities for diversifying an existing business.
4. Learn ways to organize a business, including computer invoicing, job costing & time card and computer bookkeeping software.
