Welcome to the Fire Technology online courses taught by Mark Ramos. 

For your success, it is imperative that you don’t fall behind in the classes.  This is a self paced course.  You are responsible to take a midterm and final online during set dates.  If you fail to take the tests during these dates, you will not pass the course.

Once you log on to the desired course, post a short bio about yourself and why you are taking the course on the discussion board (this is mandatory and failure to do so in the first two weeks of the semester will result in you being dropped from the course).  The discussion board is used to post questions that you have.  Anyone can answer questions on the discussion board including myself.  I will post important information regarding the class on the discussion board. 

You are responsible to read the PowerPoint presentations, lecture notes, and the chapter in the book for each session.  Your grade is based upon an online midterm, final examination, and chapter quizzes.  The course is taught 100% online.  There are no meetings prior to the class beginning.

3. Click on “Check Browser” at the top right corner of screen to verify browser is compatible
4. If a login doesn’t work, close the browser, re-open and type in online.cabrillo.edu
