Volunteer Service at Home

To receive credit for volunteer work at home you may choose one of these websites for free clicks. "Cookies" must be enabled on your web browser to track the progress you make. Do not delete the cookies until you have completed the project. At the completion of your work, you will need to submit a printout or screenshot of the page showing the number of trees you have planted or the amount of rain forest saved.

Jogo Environmental Trivia (http://jogogreen.com/): For every 10 correct answers, a tree is planted up to 30 trees a day. You will need to accumulate 75 trees.

EcologyFund (http://www.ecologyfund.com/ecology/): Save rain forest by making 4 clicks for a total of 87 sq. ft. each day. You will need to accumulate 1500 sq. ft. To track your progress you will need to register on the home page. It is free and easy.

For you to be successful, you will need to start clicking at the beginning of the semester and continue throughout. It takes only a few moments time but you will not be able to "cram" this in at the end of the semester. You can also combine totals from the two different websites (for example, 38 trees + 750 sq. ft.).
