Beach Volleyball (16 weeks)
Earning a Grade
A= Up to 5 absences
B= 6 to 10 absences
C or Credit= 11 to 15 absences
NC (No Credit)= 16 or more absences.
Up to 3 absences can be made-up with a special project outside of class. Examples would be attending a high school or college volleyball match, watching a volleyball video in the Cabrillo Library, or doing some sort of community service. Prior approval of the project is required. Upon completion, a one page typed description of the make-up work is to be turned in to the instructor.
Being consistently late to class will influence a student’s final grade.
In the event of injury, extended illness, or other extenuating circumstances
see the instructor.
Taking the class for “Credit/No Credit” must have approval of the
instructor before the end of the third week of the semester. Receiving a “Credit” grade
requires attending at least half of the classes during the semester.
It is the student’s responsibility for adding and dropping a course with
the necessary paperwork being submitted to the Admissions Office; failure to
do so may result in an “F” or “No Credit” grade. A “W” (Withdraw)
grade cannot be given after 75% of the semester is completed.Special Note:
Read all course information to avoid misunderstandings
