Patrick Stafford

 
 


        

         Patrick Stafford has been a designer/craftsperson for 30 years and operates a fine woodworking studio in Santa Cruz, California.  He is presently teaching Furniture Design/Woodworking, Lighting Fabrication, and Furniture Mixed-Media for Cabrillo College in Aptos, C A. Patrick is instrumental in the developing Interior Architecture Program at the same institution.

       Patrick attended the College of the Redwoods Fine Woodworking Program in Mendocino County. He studied with and later taught beside, James Krenov, author and internationally respected craftsperson. Patrick attended Pasadena City College, Cabrillo College, and received his teaching credential from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

      He has also taught through Cabrillo Community Education and in the Furniture Design Program at De Anza College in Cupertino, CA.

      Patrick has been a contributor to American Woodworker Magazine. His work has been shown throughout California and   is in collections throughout the United States.

      Patrick Stafford works in a variety of media in addition to wood. He is also proficient in the use of metals (bronze, copper, steel, etc.), fine art painting, casting, mold making, lighting design, mosaic, water features and hardscapes.
