Nov 21 Sat morn 4am - Occultation of 12.1 star by Oceana, SF to south of Yosemite. SC on south edge, mediocre rank. Nov 21 Sat morn 6:00am - Occultation of 9.1 star by Meliboa from Santa Cruz to Lake Tahoe. sigma=0.43 pathwidths. 21+ moon. I will either try from Cabrillo, or if weather is good, will drive to San Juan Bautista, where odds on Meliboa are over 60% for success. Oceana is about 1 chance in 4 of success, in the entire area.

Nov 25 Wed morn 2am - Occultation of 12.8 star by 13.3 Aurora. Sure thing from Santa Cruz.
Nov 26 Thursday 12:54am- Occultation of 10.7 star by 8.9 Melpomene (0.2 mag drop) from far Northern California. Thanksgiving vacation weekend getaway?? Same night is occultation of 13.5 star by 12.4 Ophelia from Pt. Arena. Can get both from same location near coast, but only 14 minutes apart in time!!

Dec 4 Fri 8pm - Occultation of 13.2 star by 13.2 Montague, low in east from Russian River and maybe Pt. Reyes.
Dec 5 Saturday, 11:30pm - Occultation of 10.9 star by Diotima, "sure thing" from Carrizo Plain, southern Big Sur, LA. Very high rank. 79- moon.

Sep 27 Mon eve 8pm - Occultation of 10.0 (combined) drop to 10.3 by Eunomia from LA to SF sure thing. Better build this into Astro 3 if you want to get it!
