COURSES TAUGHT – Fall 2012
CABT 106 Introduction to Computers at Cabrillo
This class introduces the use of computer for beginning computer users with emphasis on the Cabrillo College student computer environment.
It is held on one weekend early in the semester so you can get up and running with computers at the college.
(Saturday/Sunday 9 AM – 1:15 PM Sept. 8-9)

Check the Schedule of Classes for class times and rooms.

Open Entry Classes:

Advisory: These can be difficult courses, even though they have low unit values. In order to pass the Keyboarding classes you must be able to demonstrate the actual performance goal, no matter how long it takes. It is quite challenging to complete 3 levels of keyboarding in one semester. And because these are based on physical proficiency, plan on spending weeks of regular effort. You cannot cram to pass these classes; so start early in the semester! Every semester we have students who have trouble with financial aid because they have signed up for too many levels of keyboarding.

Note: Textbook and software has changed for the Keyboarding classes in Fall 2012. Text and software is necessary to purchase only for Distance/Online sections.

CABT 210 Basic Computer Keyboarding

CABT 110A, B, C Computer Keyboarding
CABT 103 A,B Data Entry on Computer

CABT 102 10-Key Calculator

YOU MUST ATTEND AN ORIENTATION TO COMPLETE CABT OPEN ENTRY CLASSES.
Note: These classes cannot be completed in a 100% distance format. Some attendance on campus is necessary.

They are also available in Distance Education format.
