FIELD TRIPS: (EXTRA CREDIT)
For all "FIELD TRIPS" turn in "TOP 10 LIST" of sustainable/green features discussed during the time spent on site. You must also include a photograph of yourself at front entry of field trip site.

About Steve Murphy
Stephen J. Murphy P.E. and LEED AP is Director of MEP Services for Blach Construction Co, a general contractor with offices in Santa Clara, Monterey and Stockton. Blach specializes in the construction of sustainable buildings for schools, offices and biotech laboratories located in the Greater Bay Area.
Steve has a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and a Masters of Science degree in Engineering Mangement from Santa Clara University. He is an adjunct instructor for Cabrillo College in the Construction Energy Management program and has previously taught at DeAnza College in the Environmental Sciences department; for UC Berkeley Extension in Engineering and for the local Sheetmetal and Pipefitters Union Apprenticeship programs.
Steve is active in the USGBC-Northern Californa Monterey Bay Chapter. He also participates on Cal Poly's Mechanical Engineering Industry Advisory Board and the "HVAC Industry Advisory Council".
