Grading System

GRADING

Each Monday morning the current week's readings in the Learning Modules, homework assignments, quizzes, and discussion topics become available. All assignments are due the following Monday morning at 9am. To receive full credit, weekly assignments must be completed and submitted by the due date. NO EXCEPTIONS! Late submissions and incomplete assignments will have points deducted.

Your grade is determined on a simple percentage basis of the total number of points you earn as shown below. Every graded assignment is assigned a specific number of points. You can keep track of your progress in the My Grades tool within Blackboard, by adding up your points as they are posted.

There will also be optional and extra credit assignments available throughout the term. The Midterm Exam, Final Project and Final Exam are however mandatory. Faliure to complete them will lower your final grade by one grade each.
