2015-16 Foundation Highlights
The Cabrillo College Foundation was established in 1965 as a non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization (Federal Tax ID: 94-6121953). The foundation is further classified as a public charity as described in sections 509(a)(1) and 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) of the Internal Revenue Code (see attached). The foundation’s mission is to provide aid supplementary to public tax dollars for the support and benefit of Cabrillo College.
- For 2015-2016 provided $4,366,937 to Cabrillo in support of scholarships, faculty, programs, and facilities
- $23 million endowment
- $1,214 scholarships awarded, totaling $1,533,863 in student scholarships
There are many ways you can give to Cabrillo College – donations to the Annual Fund and The President’s Circle, planned gifts through the Heritage Club, Scholarships to Departments, Faculty Grants for Student Success, Women’s Educational Success, Cabrillo Advancement Program (CAP), and more.
