Terms of Application: 

By signing and submitting this application, I confirm that my educational goal is to complete the two-semester Business Information Worker certificate program offered by the Computer Applications/ Business Technology department at Cabrillo College. I understand that attendance is required Monday through Thursday, from 9 am until 2:30 pm. I will take all of the required courses at their designated day and time. I also understand that, in order to continue in the program, a 2.0 GPA must be maintained. Finally, I confirm that I understand that this program follows a cohort model, and I will be expected to participate positively as part of the BIW cohort.

Acceptance, Orientation, and Next Steps: 

Applicants will be notified by email from the Computer Applications/Business Technology Department Chair of their eligibility to be accepted into the Business Information Worker Program (BIW). Students are required to attend a brief meeting before acceptance, and a mandatory one-day orientation before the start of the fall term. Accepted students will be informed how and when to register for their fall classes. Students in the BIW program will have guaranteed placement in all required CABT courses for the length of the BIW program.
