I'm an American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf Culture instructor who is congenitally and culturally d/Deaf. I'm also a Cabrillo College alumnus currently in the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership program at SFSU.  I've been teaching ASL at various institutions since 2013, and am delighted to be teaching at Cabrillo albeit in an online format for now.

I grew up in Santa Cruz, and currently live in San Jose with my family and two super friendly dogs. One is my Canine Companion for Independence hearing service dog named Brie. The other fur-member is Albus, a cream-colored Golden Retriever. Aside from teaching, I enjoy reading, hiking/camping, and going on scenic road trips.
