Early Childhood Education (ECE)

Certificates

The Early Childhood Education Department at Cabrillo offers eight Certificates of Achievement (specializations). These Certificates require 24 units.

ECE also offers one Skills Certificate. This Certificate requires 20 units.

This program provides you with the coursework required by the State of California Department of Social Services and the Department of Education Child Development Permit which enables you to be employed as a Children's Center Teacher or Family Child Care Provider or Infant/Toddler Specialist in state funded programs.
