Common Questions

What is Cabrillo Arts?

Cabrillo Arts is a reflection of the creative community that is Santa Cruz. Through hands-on classes and workshops students enjoy expert instruction, access to cutting-edge equipment and state-of-the-art facilities, and the opportunity to collaborate and connect with their community.

How old do I need to be to take a class?

Cabrillo Extension classes are for students 18 and older unless otherwise noted.

How do virtual classes work?

If you can't come to us, we'll come to you! Most live instruction classes are offered through Zoom, a virtual space where you'll interact with your instructors and other members of your community in real time. You do not need a Zoom account, and you can connect directly from your favorite web browser. With just one click, you can join your classroom - no extra log-in required!

When will you offer face-to-face classes?

As a result of the campus being closed, Extension will not be able to offer face-to-face classes at this time. We will announce it as soon as in-person classes are able to resume!
