I started my culinary career with an education at Cabrillo College, so I have an affinity with my students. I was in your place at one time! After earning my A.S. degree, I was further inspired to attend Le Cordon Bleu cooking school in Paris. This meant that I had to learn French and leave my family and friends behind, but what an adventure! It set me up for a lifetime love of all things French and a deep understanding of what quality cuisine and love of food really looks like. It has been my goal to pass on that love and appreciation to my students.

I have been in culinary for most of my life, and I've found it to be a profoundly satisfying career. I've been a line cook, a catering business owner, teacher, wine maker (in case you're wondering about the photo! It's another one of my passions) and an online wine text content writer (wine-ed.com)

I hope to see you in a class soon to explore aspects of food and wine together.
