With Cabrillo College since 2008

I took my first Sociology course in graduate school and I've been hooked ever since, and today it's my career! I’ve been teaching college for over seventeen years, for eleven at Cabrillo and over thirteen years online. I teach a wide range of classes including Introduction to Sociology, Social Problems, Family, Social Psychology, Deviance, Law and Society, Globalization, Social Action, Women's Studies, Feminist Theory, and Global Women.

In my spare time I love to read, watch movies/television and train for triathlon. I have completed three Ironman Triathlons--2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike, 26.2 mile run). I live in the mid-peninsula area of the San Fransisco Bay area where I reside with my husband and three cats--Bella, Mimi and Mazy. =^-^=
