I retired as a Lieutenant from the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety and have 30 years of public safety service with Sunnyvale DPS and the Mountain View Police Dept. I received my AS in Justice Studies from Evergreen Valley College and my BS, MS from San Jose State Univ. I am also certified by the Dept. of Justice as a Crime and Intelligence Analyst completing the required course work at CSU Sacramento in 2000. My most recent law enforcement assignment was as the academy coordinator for the Basic Police Academy at the Southbay Regional Public Safety Training Consortium.

All of my classes have an online component using the CANVAS learning management system for quizzes etc. If you are taking a fully online class please be sure that your computer skills are adequate and that you have taken the Canvas tutorial available for all student by checking "The Learning Center" website on-line.
