With Cabrillo College since 2000

I live in Santa Cruz, CA, and I teach here at Cabrillo as well as over the hill at San Jose City College. I coordinate A New Cadence Poetry Series out of the Felix Kulpa Gallery in Santa Cruz. My first book, Kata, was published by BlazeVOX Books in 2009. I am a member of the Black Radish Collective, and my second book, The Arakaki Permutations, was published by Black Radish Books in 2011. Another book, These Peripheries, was published by Otoliths Books in 2012. A chapbook, Worldbook 1925 A-Bee, was published in 2010 by the g.e. collective and Poetry Flash. Black Radish Books published my new book, Playing the Form, in April of 2017. Poems have appeared in Otoliths, Lungfull, Parthenon West Review, TinFish, Big Bell, Sentence, Moria, Poetry Salzburg Review, Dusie, MiPoesias, and Horse Less Review.

Apropos of nothing, I curate a Cabrillo College Field Guide on iNaturalist. Please feel free to add observations to it:
