Leslie L De Rose
CTE Program Coordinator

With Cabrillo College since 2012

I welcome the opportunity to speak with you about Career Technical Education and how Cabrillo College is working closely with our K-12, local and regional industry partners to offer our students the highest quality, most relevant technical education possible. Our goal is to utilize resources to best prepare students for transfer or to successfully move directly into the workforce. Our many articulated programs are taught by expert instructors at the high school and college level who work together to help shepherd the students through to earn a Skills Certificate, Certificate of Achievement an AS or AA degree or a degree for transfer.

In addition to the above, I help to coordinate the following annual events: College Awareness Week, College & Career Night and the Samper 4th Grade Experience, Job Fair and Career Panels, Advisory meetings and workshops for professional development. I am the co-lead for the Entering the Path Guided Pathways Workgroup where our charge is to create a supportive, welcoming experience to all incoming students and to identify a suite of support services to improve student success. Feel free to contact me with questions!
