My position provides oversight for the Planning and Research Office (PRO), Grants Office (GO), and our local California Adult Education consortium called Greater Opportunities for Adult Learning (GOAL). We support grant and categorically funded campus projects, mandatory reporting and accreditation, evaluation of student programs and initiatives, transition of adult learners to and through college, and inquiry for planning and decision making.

I am a former Cabrillo student who studied music, science, and geographic information systems (GIS) and hope to take more classes in the future. My graduate thesis was titled "Spiders and Other Arthropods as Indicators in Old‚ÄźGrowth Versus Logged Redwood Stands" with the research conducted in an around Big Basin State Park. My research assistants included UC Santa Cruz biology students who had transferred from Cabrillo and one of my committee members was Cabrillo Biology instructor Dr. John Carothers.
