Joanne M Noto
Adjunct Dental Hygiene Instructor
RDH BSDH MEd
With Cabrillo College since 1989
Teaching has been my passion for many decades. For ten (10) years I taught in the SF bay area as an adjunct (part time) instructor. I began teaching as a full time instructor at Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene in 1989.
In 2016 after twenty-seven (27) years at Cabrillo I retired from teaching and began the joyous experience of being retired. I am a member of the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) in Carmel and Monterey. I am a Volunteer In Police Service (VIPS) for Carmel Police Department doing foot patrols and participating in other PD events. I love to read and am a member of two (2) book study groups.
My leisure pursuits include traveling, gardening, and hiking at the ocean and in state and national parks.
This year I am assisting the DH Department in several projects, including preparing the self-study for the DH accreditation site visit in 2019.
A favorite quote of mine:
"It is good to have an end to journey towards, but it is the journey that matters in the end." Ursula LeGuin
