With Cabrillo College since 1987

I began my career as an ESL teacher when living in Europe for almost two decades. I know what it is like to live and work in a foreign language and I have great respect for those who are navigating in a second (or perhaps third or fourth) language.

I am also a professional writer with twenty published books of fiction and nonfiction (see my website, I love working with students to share what I have learned about writing, from creating a simple summary to a much larger research paper.

I look forward to working with you to strengthen your command of writing and help prepare for a successful career in college and in life.
