It is always recommended to refer to the the Cabrillo College Facility Use Policies and Procedures PDF. Below are quick answers to our most frequently asked questions.

  • What type of insurance policy do I need?

    Cabrillo College requires the organization or group to furnish evidence of liability insurance (minimum of $1,000,000) naming Cabrillo College as the additionally insured. This is a standard blanket policy. Policy is due five (5) days before the event start date.

  • How do I determine the best room for our event needs?

    The Facilities Use and Events Coordinator can work with you to determine a room that best fits your needs based on expected attendance, potential room configurations/needs and location.

  • How many people can the room(s) accommodate?

    Room capacities vary from three (3) people to over two hundred (200) people. Our athletic fields and outdoor spaces can also accommodate more people depending on type of event. Capacities vary by location and type of configuration set-up required by the group. The Facilities Use and Events Coordinator can provide recommendations for facilities that match your expected attendance.

  • What equipment is available and included for use in the rooms?

    Equipment, including technical, audio, visual availability depends on room type. Various equipment items such as pianos, flags, additional tables and chairs are all available for rent. Please see our Equipment Fees for a complete list of equipment available for rent.

  • Can we bring food into the rooms?

    Food is allowed is certain rooms and spaces. Custodial hours are required by groups providing food service to remove trash and clean-up the room after use. Cabrillo College Facility Policies and Procedures C.23 provides additional information on kitchen, catering, and food services.

  • Does Cabrillo offer WiFi?

    Cabrillo College does not offer public WiFi, but arrangements can be made to set up a unique login for your group.

  • Is there free parking?

    Please reference Cabrillo’s Sheriff’s Office website for current parking regulations and complete information. Parking arrangements can be built into Facility Use Contracts and the Facilities Use and Events Coordinator can provide more detailed information.
