Sesnon House Catering is unique in that we can offer foods that are made in-house by a staff of students and instructors as part of the students training for professional work in the culinary field. All sauces, salads, bread and other baked items are made daily by the students. Many of the herbs and vegetables featured on our menus come from gardens located on campus. The staff at Cabrillo is constantly working on new menu ideas to keep our variety of selections growing and to maintain the highest quality. We are available to meet with you by appointment to work out details for your special event.
Students perform all food preparation and catering services under the guidance of Culinary Arts Chef Instructor, Jeremy MacVeigh. Jeremy brings over 30 years of experience in the culinary field including working at the Ritz Carlton in Boston, Executive Chef at Maximilians Café and Director of Culinary Arts for the International Culinary Center in Campbell, CA. Jeremy is known for being versatile in the kitchen and overseeing great events.
The Pino Alto Restaurant, located inside the Sesnon House Pino Alto Room, is open during the spring and fall semesters. Lunch is offered Monday through Thursday 12:00 pm-1: 30 pm and dinner, Wednesday through Friday from 5:30-9:00 pm.
