The Sesnon House may be rented for wedding ceremonies and receptions.
The standard contract includes: use of the foyer, Pino Alto Room, McPherson Room, five restrooms (more available if needed), parking lot, upstairs dressing room, back terrace, and garden. An on-site coordinator for a 1-hour ceremony rehearsal, the full day of the event and any appts needed up to your date. Only one event booked per weekend at this time. There are some days when the Cabrillo campus is closed.
The standard contract is for a 7 hour period for the ceremony, reception, set-up, and breakdown. These hours may be scheduled any time between 11 am and no later than 11 pm.
A security deposit is required to reserve a date. Refunds are issued 2-4 weeks after the event, providing the Sesnon House guidelines are followed by all guests and vendors, and there are no damages or additional cleaning costs for the venue.
The security deposit and use fees are refundable up to 6 months before the wedding/event, less a $200 administrative fee retained by Sesnon House. The full rental fee is due six months before the event, cancellations after full payment will result in the refund of the original deposit but not the rental fee.
The Cabrillo Culinary Arts Catering program provides catering services during most of the year. Please refer to Sesnon House Catering for more information about the menus for weddings and other events. When Cabrillo’s Culinary Program is unavailable a licensed caterer from our list of preferred vendors must be used.
