Why to Choose Cabrillo

We’re the #1 community college in transfers to UC Santa Cruz and #2 for transfers to CSU Monterey Bay. Former students often tell us that their Cabrillo instructors were the best they had during their entire academic careers—even those who went on to four-year institutions.

Our Computer and Information Systems (CIS) Department includes the Cabrillo NetLab that offers computer-based industry training to a network of 28 regional Bay Area Community Colleges, features an award-winning Robotics Club, and includes a CyberSecurity course of study.

Our Agriculture & Natural Resources Pathway is producing next gen AgTech, BioTech, Horticulture, and Organics workers. The only Culinary Arts & Hospitality Management program in the Monterey Bay Region features the teaching kitchen at Pino Alto—our fine-dining restaurant.
