Computer and Information Systems

The Cabrillo Computer and Information Systems (CIS) department offers Information Technology (IT) courses. IT includes rapidly emerging and evolving computer hardware, software, networking, telecommunications, Internet, programming and information systems technologies. CIS courses allow students to update job skills or prepare for careers in IT as well as transfer to four-year institutions. We offer degrees in Computer Networking System Administration (CNSA) and Computer Support Specialist (CSS), and various certificates including a Cyberscecurity Fundamentals certificate.
