A very special place where dis-abilities become new abilities through education.
For 38 years, a special program at Cabrillo College has provided adapted education and support for students who have experienced functional loss due to a stroke or other acquired disability.
Since opening in 1975, the Stroke and Disability Learning Center has served over 10,000 residents of Santa Cruz County. These individuals have successfully come back to school to learn new knowledge and skills, regain abilities, and find ways to maintain maximum independence despite facing life-altering challenges.
Call or come visit to find out how the Stroke and Disability Learning Center can help you meet your learning goals!
