The Cabrillo College English as a Second Language
program serves both resident and foreign students from all over
the world. It is designed to prepare non-native speakers to succeed
in regular academic and vocational classes by helping them read,
write, comprehend, and speak American English from beginning to
college level.
| Due to immigration regulations, students entering
the U.S. under an F1 visa must first obtain a TOEFL test score
of 450/133 or higher for admission to the college. The TOEFL
is not required for permanent residents, U.S. citizens, or students
with visa status other than F1. For more information, contact
International
