Planning at Cabrillo
The Planning area of Planning & Research (PRO) supports campus-wide planning efforts that guide priorities, resource allocation, and continuous improvement. This page connects campus practitioners to planning processes, timelines, and resources used to support data-informed and equity-focused decision-making.
The Strategic Planning task force is working on a the next iteration of our strategic plan: Cabrillo 2030.
The plan is expected to be finalized by the end of spring 2026.
The qualitative analysis document, Strategic Listening Sessions: Qualitative Analysis, was introduced as the primary evidence base for the next phase of the planning process. The report summarizes themes across responses from current students, community members, and employees, and includes a cross-group synthesis and a crosswalk that connects key ideas to broader strategic dimensions. Over 250 participants contributed to this process, and the analysis was designed to identify patterns across roles, identities, and experiences.
PRO supports program planning by providing guidance, templates, data, and analysis used to assess program effectiveness, identify improvement strategies, and monitor outcomes over time.
