Mission: To increase access to higher education for the Pajaro Valley community and students who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education.

• Offer a selection of classes that fulfill requirements and prerequisites for general education, transfer, career training and associate’s degree level programs of study.
• Provide all services bilingually in Spanish and English
• Offer support programs designed to increase participation and success rates of underserved populations.
• Cultivate productive collaborations with local governmental, educational and community organizations.

• Monitor and study the effectiveness and level of instructional support and other student services at the Watsonville Center in promoting student success and retention
• Increase the Watsonville area high school graduates’ rate of attending Cabrillo College
• Seek to establish collaborative efforts with 4-year institutions to promote transfer
• Examine course offerings that better prepare incoming students who lack academic preparation for associate degree and transfer level coursework
• Build course offerings that address shortages and needs in growing segments of the workforce and the learning community
