RDH Expanded Duties
Local Anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide Sedation & Soft Tissue Curettage
Expanded Duties is a Dental Hygiene Board of California approved course which allows dental hygienists to gain required training in local anesthesia, nitrous oxide sedation, and soft tissue curettage.
This is a board approved course for out of state dental hygienists to get licensed in California.

Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene Program is accredited by the Commission of Dental Accreditation (CODA) and follows the guidelines of the Dental Hygiene Board of California (DHBC), the DH program's licensing body.
Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene is approved by the DHBC to provide Local Anesthesia, Nitrous Oxide Sedation & Soft Tissue Curettage, which are required for licensure in California.
